Dearest daughters

Dearest child, Sweet child, My own blessed kin,
A longer life on earth I cannot give.
God saw you as one pure and free from sin,
And in His bosom is the place you live.

Oh God, My little child she just lay still
In my weary weakened arms. I cry!
But Dear Father, I know it is thy will.
Please bless me, I pray, to understand: why?

Alone in my trial, infant of my womb,
Your spirit set free by our loving Savior above.
Your frail and fragile bones I place in tomb.
Again, I wait another child to love.

Mother, With you my life is won complete.
Mother, Until we meet at Jesus' feet.
